yea it was a 03 f250 crew cab ,5 inch lift, leather interior , short bed, 4x4, so if they do try to give me another they better not try to give me anything less

Ok so i talked to the dealership not to long ago and when i talked to the mechanic, hes said the injectors were going to be to much. Then i talked to one of the managers and he told me the turbo was going to cost to much, i was never told anything about a turbo!!!!! then i told him that i was never told anything about the turbo. and he started to freak out and didnt know what to say........Does anyone else think i might be getting screwed over?

 

This dealership did a **** poor job of prepping that truck for resale, they know it, and they know they either have to fix it or give up another vehicle. My friend went from a Mitsubishi Raider to a GMC Yukon in a similar situation. I'd find something that cost more and DEMAND the same deal you were approved for on the Super Duty.

Remind them if they would have gone over the truck with more than a wash wand they would have known it had issues. If all else fails, litigation will get your truck fixed or you in another ride.

 

I had a similar situation with my cummins. Bought it from a not so reputable dealership but it was exactly what i wanted (except for the auto tranny) for the right price and
70k miles. Drove it to PA for the weekend, on my way back it died on the interstate. Long story short, they towed it to their shop, had a diesel mechanic from local dodge dealer put in new lift pump (they wanted to do factory junk fix, i paid the difference in that one to the airdog i wanted). The problem ended up being faulty fuel gauge sending unit and i think they knew it. gave me a sob story about how i got a free lift pump out of it when all that needed done was to add fuel and bleed injectors. Keep on them, my trade in was already gone by the next week. Dont feel bad for "making" them do anything

 

Yeah seriously, the dealership is at fault here, don't let them make YOU feel bad about it! Get on their **** about it!

 

Ok im really starting to get pissed! i told them that they should of checked the brakes and engine before selling it, and they tried to give me some bullshit about how they did check the brakes but they found some weird stuff on them that made them just go out on them selves! (basically no brake pads) and i need this for my job on the ranch these people are loosing me money!

 

I'd go get me a brand new truck on them. I have yet to find a decent car dealer here in southern Ohio, any brand. There's only two that I know off one closed and the other I'd only go there because my mo went to school with the woman who owns the one and one of the sales women has been good to our family when It comes to new cars.

im trying to get them to buy me something better..... but they keep telling me how they sold it to me for way under price, and how they keep looking up trucks for me to trade. but i dont like any of them. so i just dont know what i would say to them to cut all the bull, i dont want to go into saying that im going to sue because maybe that will screw up me getting a better truck on them.

 

I'd tell them look you have 2 weeks to either get my truck running properly with no issues at all and if there is an issue that you didn't address your fixing it free of charge and if you cannot fix it properly I want another truck by then what I want, and I don't care if you sold it to ms for a good price because you obviously knew it had "problems" and didn't address them before sale and if you guys cannot meet those terms I will go to court and file a law suit and put that in writing and have manager of dealership sign and manager or service center sign and have a witness ad yourself sign.
