I wouldn't call them problems, it is just learning how to work on the 6.0, its intimidating the first time. After you work on a couple it is pretty easy because you know where everything is. once youve done one you can almost,if not, cut your time in half to do this project

Mine is a single alternator, if yours is dual, I don't know if this applies. The aft fairing on the radiator shroud is a clip on about 1.5~2" wide. I removed this by pushing in on the lower clip part with a flat screw driver and pulling up. Because my 1/2" drive was too short and the extension pipe I use too fat, I set my torque wrench to 150lbs (so as not to push on it after it clicked), fumbled around with getting the head in the right place, locked it into the tensioner and pushed towards the driver's side. Tension released.
Its hard to see this 1/2 drive recepticle, but its there. I tried muscling the belt on, but my finger/hand was in the way and I need both. As I broke my arm patting myself on the back for getting the belt back on, part of that fairing broke by the intake elbow during re-installation.

I apologize, this IS information you could have used yesterday.
