just keep in mind that the video is good for showing you how to get to the pump but keep in mind your pump doesn't look anything like that and it has a cast iron cover that covers the whole thing, also the sensor he removed was the IPR valve and on yours it will also have the ICP sensor just behind and just below the one they took out, also note that yours does not the sct fitting that they changed.

The hpop that guy pulled in the video and the hpop pictured for sale on line don't exactly look the same, does that stuff that is exposed when in the rig need to be changed out? Considering I just had mine apart for an EGR cooler removal, this looks pretty straight forward. The hpops I found weren't exactly cheap, but I could do this. Also, does the hpop update kit apply to the 03 as well?

See mines an 06 so i was looking for what looked similar to mine. My bad on the whole 03 thing. I am not entirely sure on the similarities or differences between year models. I do know that mine looks very similar to what was in the video and at the absolute least it gives and idea of the items that need to be removed in order to get to the HPOP the easy way. i apologize for what was not an entirely complete response to the previous request.

The HPOP that guy pulled in the video is for the 05-07 engines the 03-04 are different and even the later 04 has the ICP on the pass valve cover but the early ones are on the pump itself, I will try to get a pic of the early pump

Well didn't make it far guys... 4 hours of work and only got the intake apart before I stripped out a bolt behind the turbo... On top of that I successfuly dropped all 6 of my 10mm sockets under the turbo.... So tomorrow I gotta get a bolt extractor being as my set is standard. Im not looking forward to this I haven't even got the turbo off and I'm already running into problems.

I agree, it will definitely require patience. Take your time, take deep breaths, drink some beers. Have something near by to throw wrenches at.
