Lost in the smoke
#12
I checked the FICM. Key on got 48.2v, cycle got 48.8v and cranking got 48.5v. Guess I'll invest in the EGR delete, oil cooler and coolant filter and cross my fingers. Like I said, I planned on these mods anyway, just can't afford them and then need to fix something else as well right now. Thanks for everyones input.

Oh, and BTW, I did a code scan and got PO403 & PO405. Dang emissions crap!

Update... Got the Sinister EGR delete and a new oil cooler installed. Also put on a Sinister coolant filter. After 10 hours fired her up and smoked like a B@#*! Idled it for about 10 min. and ran her down thr road. After about 5 miles it started to clear up and now I haven't seen any smoke. Thank heaven that was the solution to my problem and not head gaskets. That will be another story another day!
