After my s'cooling about how the TorqShift works, this seems to be what I have been needing all along. The 2 races I have lost in my truck were when the 3-5 shift hung up (a Dura'smoke and a 94 Pontiac Trash Can). When the Edge dumped and made my 3-5 shift unbearable, I bought a rebuild "valve body", wish I would have known about this little number, I would have put it in when it was out. BTW, didn't need a "valve body", needed a new tuner!

All you really need to know is the location of the solenoid in the trans, since there are 6 of them together there and they all look the same.

Basically, drain the trans pan. Pull the trans pan off, all the solenoids are right there...

I'll see what I can find though, I know I've seen a write up on it.

You can go with a larger charger.

The two biggest things that are going to save your trans: Tuning#1, and your driving style#2.

The charger really needs to be matched with the injectors. Sure you can run 190's on a stock charger or even a powermax, but it will smoke more and make less power than something like a 62mm charger based off an S300 design. You could go to a 64mm charger too, but there are trade offs. For instance the 64 will pull harder up top and run like a freight train, but it will smoke heavy down low and be laggy to drive. It will also make towing harder. Again, tuning is going to be KEY here.

What do you use the truck for? Do you tow ever? How heavy and how often?

The powermax is a good replacment turbo, it's cheap, it's a little bigger than stock, spools just as good and has a wicked whistle. It's by no means a high performance turbo though. Better than stock, but not as good as like an S362 setup.

Do you want to stay VGT, or go non-VGT? Or are you not sure yet?

well i like to drive fast most of the time. I usually get there pretty quick when i can. i will be getting the xtreme street tune once i get everything ready to go. i dont tow much at all but will eventually when i decide to buy a boat or want to tow my 4wheelers around. I drive the truck around while im at the house basically not many miles. not sure on the vgt or non vgt. not sure on w/m injection either. I really just want the most hp out of my truck without replacing the tranny. If it is unreasonable to go that high and will lose most of the trucks functionality than i would just go with the powermax and 175cc injectors no big deal. kinda just fishing around. im also looking into the ficm tuning from innovative. emailed them today and they say the ficm tuning is 200 but they dont have the machine to do it yet but soon. Im sure i dont need that much hp but its fun to play with and see what it can do. thanks a lot mdub

Innovative can tune your FICM now. You just have to send them a FICM to do that with. The machine they're getting soon that they were referring to, is to do remote FICM tuning, meaning you don't have to send your FICM in, you can keep it on the truck i believe.

Our trannies are living up to almost 600rwhp behind the 6.4's....

To get up to that power level with a 6.0, you lost a lot of drivability. You could still street drive it, but towing anything will be a chore. Unless of course you can afford compounds...

190's and a small set of compounds would make a killer DD.

xstreet is a really fun tune.

Please do some research and have a little bit of a clue of what you're talking about before offering advice.
