2 stroke oil in fuel will it pass emissions?

Well I’m glad someone noticed that. I agree blocks are for building houses. People are also attracted to the block lifts because of their price. Before my new leafs i actually snapped my factory spring in half. I had one link holding the rear axle to the frame. Really weird i don’t even know how it happened. Wheeling maybe but who knows, just driving down the road and Squeak Squeak. All the other broken members had shoveled sideways and were rubbing on the fender well. If that last link of the leaf had broken i would have lost my axel.

Funny story, my wife and I were out looking at trucks and we found a 05 6.0 350 with a 6in lift. I started to inspect the truck and as I was looking down in the fender well as to what lift was on the truck. I noticed the 6in blocks all twisted in the U bolts. Then I looked to the shackles. The four bolts that hold the leafs to the shackles were popping out. WTF. So here comes the sales man. “yah this is a great truck. We just got her in last week, and this personally is my favorite truck on the lot. I just had her up in the Rocky Mountains this last weekend and have been driving her all this week”. Well did you know the rear end of the truck is about to fall off. No answer “wow I had no idea” . I can’t imagine what the front end of the truck looks like.

I bought an Ex with 6"lift using Blocks. First thing I did was buy arched spring and remove the blocks.
I agree, all things equal, that an arch is stiffer and great at supporting more weight.
That arch is what allows the use of either thinner leafs and additional multiple leafs to make a softer more complaint ride and better off road flexibility. Same Hauling capacity and car like ride in a One Ton.
If the arched springs leafs are the same thickness and width, then yes it would be a stiffer ride.
Just my Experience in Spring Research and Wallet Facts.

I buy the cheap Walmart 2 stroke Marine/snowmobile oil and mix anywhere from 12oz per 25gals up to 32oz per 40 gals. Never had a problem.
Dumping straight Veg oil 1 gallon to 40 gal diesel, gets me flagged.
Not real scientific, Heh, heh But it sure quiets the injectors and HP pump.
BTW, STP in the oil also does a nice job of lubing the injectors, increasing their life and reducing noise.

Rev-X is the best thing you can buy for an oil additive, hands down.
As for the great block/spring debate... technically speaking you can get any stiffness you want in any arch, a large arch just simply wont TRAVEL like a flatter arch will. It's just the physics of it. You would need HUMONGOUS hangers for a very large arch to travel correctly, then you have to worry about all sorts of other things. Flatter arches are better, but not always needed. I would bet a large block with flat arched springs and a good ladder bar system will be stronger than just springs. Take the ladder bars out of the equation and that quickly changes around though.
