Ok the wife wants to buy me a code reader for CHRISTmas so I need to know which one would be a good one if any of you all have any in mind. It needs to be able to do my truck and other vehicles as well. Price is a concern as well but under 200 will be ok.

 

I'm not really well versed in the readers that can read all vehicles... Most of us just use our SCT's, but they'll really only read Ford's. I also like AutoEnginuity a LOT, but it's ~$350, without the labtop needed to run it. That includes the enhanced Ford bundle, but it should be able to do basic stuff on other vehicles and you can always add to it. You probably just need one of the "better" one's from advanced auto or something along those lines.
