Help I have a problem
Ok here's the problem looking for a fix cause its extremely annoying I have only noticed it at certain speeds about 45 and 65 when I'm at 65 my RPMs are sitting at about 1750-1900 pretty much what happens is I will have a steady foot on the gas and I will notice a rev of about 250 every now and again it is the same while at 45 I just have not noticed the RPMs while at 45 it started when my trans took a crap on me the mods I currently have on the truck is a MBRP dual stack exhaust AFE intake and I'm not 100% on the type of tuner because I did not have it installed *the truck has about 140,000 miles on it and I have not noticed any other problems with the truck and I've looked the truck over multiple times for any kind of leaks and cannot find any. Any questions just ask

Is it a handheld programmer, or something that is always plugged in to the OBD port? Did you buy it with it on there or something?
It could very well be the trans on the way out, especially since it's probably just a generic tuner. Have you checked the trans fluid level? When's the last time it's been flushed?
When it "revs up" does the truck accelerate anymore, or is just strictly an RPM raise?

Im about to sound like an idiot but what ever The guy I bought it from had a programer installed on the truck he told me the type when I bought it but that was a while ago and I cannot remember it is a hand held but of course he did not have that to give me

The trans was replaced and flushed about six months ago and I check the fluid once a month and last time I checked it it was good and it does not pick up speed at all when it revs and it's strictly rpm raise and last time it was flushed was a week after I got it replaced

oh and i had the trans replaced twice so far because my alternator was not putting out enough voltage causing the trans to mess up cause it was not getting correct voltage to shift once about a year and a half ago and the most current 6 months ago and it did not start this rev until i got the trans replaced the first time before i got it replaced i was not doing the rev

Yes entire trans replaced 6 months ago and the only reason I believe it has a programer is because the guy i bought it off of said it did so no I'm not 100% it has one and I have taken it to multiple shops and they have hooked it up to their scanners up to it and they cannot find any codes

And I do not have a stock 6.0 I can compare to
