Default Bullet proof kit

I have been reading up on the bullet proof kit for these 6.0s and i'm curious how long does it take for a good tech to install everything?

Depends what kit you're talking about, they have a few options. Are you talking just EGR cooler? Or EGR cooler, headstuds, oil cooler and the works?

Takes me:
1. 1/2 hour 45 minutes to get the cab off
2. 10-20 minutes to strip the engine to short block status
3. Waiting for a machine shop to send me back milled heads or give me bad news on cracked heads anywhere from an afternoon to 2-3 weeks. Depending on how backed up the machine shop is.
4. 1hr to reassemble engine with head studs egr delete etc.
5. 1hr to put the cab back on perfectly straight
While the cab is being placed i recharge the A/C and place the coolant system under a vacuum and once i start the cab bolts i usually have a 5gal bucket 50/50 mix of coolant n distilled water being sucked through the system.
I also have the intake cleaned while im waiting for the heads. Sometimes i end up getting a new intake because the machine shop damaged the intake manifold.
