Without doing more research... I'd say no. There was a lot of different things between the years.

It will fit/mount in just fine. From a wiring stand point you may need to do alot of work.

Right, and it's not just swapping harnesses, there are hard parts that the harness will connect in to that will be different. There was a LOT of stuff changed.

HOLY **** dude your like 20 minutes away from me, what do you need? I have about 4 6.0s that are laying around at a buddys shop. I can put you a 6.0 together. theyre all out of 04s too. Let me know. Im literally 20 mins away.

We can put a motor together and install it. Ill give my buddy a call. Hes out of the dealership but he was 6.0 and 6.4 certified. Hes got a 7.3 and a trailer, we can pick your truck up and trailer it to his shop ill see what he'd want to put a motor together and what he'd charge to install it.

Who ever did the ARP install messed it up. The install is key. The heads need to be decked and the right gaskets need to be used.

I wouldn't even waste my time with o-ringed heads. 6.0's are very good tow machines when done right.

What mods are on this truck now?

Let me know when you want it done. We'll come get it and have it running in a couple days or less.

And if he doesnt want it how much does he want to get for it? I may have my buddy retire his 7.3 and take that 6.0.

Id build one myself if i had the money. I would paint it to either match my tool box or paint it a dark green remove ALL ford badging and put Peterbilt Emblems in the grille tailgate and remove the powerstroke emblems on the doors and put the fancy Peterbilt script logos on. Get rid of the F- Badging on the fenders put Peterbilt 379 or 359 logos in place of those. Everything would be paint matched, door handles grille bumper covers. Only chrome on it would be Stacks. And maybe a push bar and rims.

Cuz chrome dont get you home.
