high rev?
I installed an egr delete on my 04 6.0 this weekend with an oil cooler, screen, hpop gaskets, intake gaskets and oil change. Then when i drove it down the road it would rev up and shift hard. I checked the trans fluid it is good and went back over my work and every thing is hooked up. I did notice that my fuel filter cap on top of the motor was leaking and i bought one from ford this morning and put it on. My question is would the cap allow air into the system and cause my problem or could it be something else? Thanks

I can't find anything in writing, but from what I remember. Go out some place where you can start/stop and run through all the gears.
From a dead stop, lightly accelerate through all of the gears. Essentially you're just going to keep repeating this process gradually getting harder and harder on the throttle every time. I believe bullydog recommends this when changing their tunes on their programmers since they do nothing for the trans as far as tuning. It's not really complicated, and realisitcally it will figure itself out. I think this just speeds it up.

Ok so I did the trans re-learn process and the vgt re-learn process and drove it again. This time the check eng light came on. Took it to the parts store and the code was icp sensor. A local shop said that was normal with the way it was acting and they seem to think that its still in the re-learn process, to keep driving it and see how it does. What do yall think?

How is the motor running? Any issues with it? If you have an early 04 that ICP is more of a PITA to change as it's on the back of the motor below the turbo. If it's a late 04 it will be on the passenger side valve cover.
Did you find a place that described the trans and VGT re-learn? Post it up if you did.
I'd hate to see you get stranded somewhere cause of the sensor though. When they start getting real bad sometimes the truck will have issues re-starting when shut off.
