just draining me idea's?
I have a 2006 f350 king ranch lwb I love this truck but as soon as it rolled 200,000 kms I've had nothing but problems do i cut my losses here?
in the last 2 weeks I have done
head gaskets
egr cooler
egr valve
2 injectors
map sensor
mass air flow sensor
all for a surging issue after 5 trips to the dealer the check engine lite is still on and i am over 10,000 dollars poorer
sypmtoms i have now are surging on moderate acceleration
and if the temperature drops below freezing (-26 ) degress celius the turbo lags 3-4 seconds then builds pressure 30 psi (no boost) until it shifts where it then drops to 15 psi then builds boost
current codes that come up are FICM and p0047 underboost over boost supercharger turbo charger.
any idea's or trade her off ...

FICM can be tested and fixed by you very easily. At least the testing will be no issue. Just do a google search on 6.0 powerstroke FICM test/repair. You will get lots of links. Very easy to test. The boost code is probably just a sooty turbo. Google for 6.0 powerstroke turbo recondition and you will find the link to "diesel technicians society" for cleaning your turbo, again, something you can do easy.
I hate when people throw money/parts at a truck without diagnosing it properly, and the worst part of this is your dealer is the one doing that.
Give us some more info about the truck, any mods, how does it drive, any smoke at all, if so what color? How is the truck used primarily, are you towing a lot? Just a DD? Short trips, long trips? Idle a lot?

If the FICM is fine, what voltage readings did you get? My guess is you didn't test it yourself. I would, it literally takes 5 minutes a buddy and a multimeter. You could cut this to 3 minutes if you skipped drinking a beer. VERY easy to do. I would do this first.
I find it hard to trust anything your dealer is telling you especially after that list of parts you've had replaced and still haven't cured the initial problem.
Test, Verify, Repair.
I will watch the video when I get home later.
