I am new in here, has anyone come up with the best coolant for a 2005 Ford 6.0? From pictures that I have seen with oil cooler being pluged I really don't want this to happen to me.
My 2005 Ford SD250 6.0 crew-cab 4x4 stock has only had turbo problems and reflash problems which I wish I could go back to when I bought it from the factory.

Well as far as the ELC go I know ford does not approve it but international does and they requor you to run it I. All of there motors. It all comes down to ford wants to stock only thee products so they can make the money and also so they don't need to stock and confuse people with different coolants

I had ford warranty and they never gave me any problems with mine or eaven asked about it i also have ELC coolant and oil bypass just depends who you take it to. I would not own a 6.0 without a coolant filter.

I wonder if the vibration thing isn't something to consider. The New Ford engine is so ridged it is quite. Because it doesn't vibrate on the compresion stroke. So that shows the older 6.0's do vibrate. Maybe the smart people that build these thing know a little something. Rember the injectors won't work very good if the engine oil foams. We live in a high tech world.
