Default Need Head Gaskets Again

Hello all ,
I drive a 2004 6.0 PS 119k and have been having issues with it for awhile now at 103k the head gaskets went on it so it went to Ford to be fixed .Ford replaced the gaskets and rebuilt the turbo the mechanic said it was stuck wide open which caused the gaskets to fail .We had a 2005 6.0 with 102k and the same thing happened to it a few weeks later, but that one also had a fuel problem and the mechanic at Ford said the fuel tank liner disintegrated and went through the system destroying everything in its way .So in one month over 10k was spent on repairs for both trucks .We sold off the 2005 and kept the 2004 and now its sucking antifreeze by the gallon every other day its like I am James Bond putting up a smoke screen driving down the road .My question is how can this truck need head gaskets again in 16k miles ? and is there a good mechanic in Connecticut that anyone can recommend to have the truck fixed?

If you have a PROGRAMMER on your truck, you're going to keep blowing HEAD GASKETS, until you stud it

What he said and the heads have to be checked to see if they are flat, if not they have to be machined flat by some one who knows these heads. I've never heard of a Ford dealer that will do that, they will just replace the gasket. Even if they replace a head it still must be checked as many have been warped out of the box. If your heads are not flat you will blow gaskets even with studs and egr delete.

Yea if your dealer did not deck you heads and reused or used factory head bolts they could easely blow again with any kind of strain form a tune or towing. You haft to deck heads and check the block on every 6.0 to make sure they are good and flat and install ARB head studs nto factory bolts so you do not go through this issue again and again.

from what i've read, these 6.0L strokers have had an issue with weak head bolts. if it's had mods installed to give it more power, and its been ran hard, you're risking streatching the head bolts causing gasket failure. to fix this replace head bolts with studs.

That's part of the solution, still more than just slapping studs in...
