Stacking is a Dodge thing. If you have custom tunes for your SCT, you are not going to get more power out of it.

You can use an Edge monitor in conjunction with your SCT, but for monitoring only. If you could even stack the thing the timing would be through the roof. 1+1 does not = 2 in this case.

Concentrate on getting the headstuds done properly first, having the heads decked, magnafluxed, pressure tested, make sure block is flat.

What other mods do you have and what are you doing with the truck?

Are you running custom tunes right now? The stock fuel pump can't keep up with the hot tunes as it is, so adding more power now isn't a good idea until fuel system is up to par.

Just to be technical.....

There is no such thing as a "chip" for a 6.0L (or Cummins or Duramax).

There are flash programmers and fueling/ICP modules.

Correct.

Get some good custom tunes for your truck, it will be the best solution for now.

Popular ones are: Innovative Diesel (who I use), GoGo, Gearhead, QuickTrickAutomotovie (formerly known as DJ's if you do some searching and see DJ's come up).

So one could use the programmer and use the edge in Stock mode for Guage purpose? Am I reading this right?

You should be driving a Dodge, not a Powerstroke.
