Question Oil Flush?

I have a 2004 6.0 with 176k miles. I was wondering is there or should you use something to flush the oil. Just wondering if there is any sludge not being removed with regular oil changes if there is a way to clean this.
Thanks

AMSOIL Has a flush for crank case and trans.
I have used it in both and was satisfied that I was getting as much of the bad stuff out that I could.
I also run AMSOIL in every where and in every thing,2 Trucks,2 Cars,2 Harleys,1 Honda genarator.
AMSOIL Engine and Trans Flush product code-FLSHCN-EA $8.15 16oz

seafoam, it flushes the system too, as for how it works i dunno, only used it on my jeep for testing porposes , its motor is a lot cheaper than the cummins. so far ive noticed higher oil pressure not sure why. also the oil looks much cleaner between oil changes. and it also seems to idle a little smoother.

i have heard taht it is not a good idea to do it on a powerstroke due to all the o rings on the injectors.

It is an option. Hopefully you don't have too big of a problem with the routine maintenace you've been doing, but it can be done. Our flush was actually reformulated this past year and I think IF there were any issues with seals, etc.,(I don't think there were?) this new one is not as harsh. It's also made for trannys.

well sometimes it hurts more than it helps, we flushed an engine at work that had many hours on it, just moved the deposits to another spot, and the other spot happened to be the oil hole going to the top of the head! but i figured a jeep 4.0 is a dime a dozen plus if it lets go a 4bt in there would be pretty nice

When i was young and could only afford beaters, i'd do the ol diesel flush. Sticky lifters were no match for 10L of diesel in crank case. I'd run it for about 5 min and then drain it. the chunks that came out were crazy!

i'd never do this to these newer diesels.
