cranks fast but wont start!!
The issue i am having is when i go to start my 2005 f250 4x4 6.0 it takes about 2.5 minutes to get the oil pressure guage to start showing psi. Then it will start acting like it wants to start but never does. I have monitored the oil psi readings and they are good after 2.5minutes of cranking. the truck ran fine before i put new head gaskets on with arp head studs and changed all injector o rings. The reason i changed the head gaskets and put head studs in is because of antifreeze getting in the cylinders as all 6.0s have seen. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong. I am going to call around today for a price on new o rings for the HPOP rails. thanks in advance.

Im good on oil level and all glo plugs are good. For some reason I think im loosing my oil prime just like you would on the fuel if it was loosing its prime. So I figure I would start replacing o rings on the stuff I took off during disassembly so the last thing I could figure that needed replaced would be the hoop rails o rings the only code I would get when it would crank slow was for the crank shaft position sensor till it starts cranking fast like its going to fire then the code would go away.

1. Open your fuel filter bowl and make sure your getting fuel.
2. Reach under your FICM and make sure you are plugged in all three plugs.
3. Are you running a tune on it? If so, bring it back to stock.
4. After performing these steps, turn key back on and make sure glow plug light goes out and injector prime noise has stopped.
5. Attempt start again, but no longer then ten seconds.
6. If it does not start, cycle key on and off a few times, but do not attempt to start. What you are doing is verifying glow plug and injector prime is initiating and completing.
7. Attempt start again, no longer then ten seconds.
8. If it does not start, you have a plug loose somewhere.

I think i may have just realized what your problem is, There's some kinda tab or check valve thing in the oil filter housing that if it gets stuck open won't let the engine start. Maybe soemone that knows a little more about it will chime in and i'm not positive but that just struck me pretty hard.... might wanna give it a look
