hello, trying to decide which tuner to step up to, 2006 6.0. i have the bully dog triple dog in it now, its a good unit but i want more. was looking at the bully dog GTor PMT, but after doing some research think im gonna go with a custom tuned unit. Have been looking at the SCT, the Spartan and the H & S Products, not sure wich is gonna b the better for my truck, I want one that has the display for the additional gauges and monitoring options. any real world experience yall might b able to share would b appreciated

 

sct won my heart forever. plus they have the gauges on the livewire and extreme

 

Try the SCT for more of what you want. Spartan doesn't really do much for the 6.0 anymore.

Eric @ Innovative gets my vote too. Doug @ GoGo is a 6.0 wizard but he's been incredibly busy lately so I wouldn't expect to hear back right away, not his fault by any means.

 

Depending On when the last time your 6.0 was flashed if its got the newest flash then the only way Innovative will make you happy is EXTREME tuning I would Try GOS or River city Diesel I have Innovative tunes right now and Im not real impressed im calling River City Diesel tomorow my buddys got there tunes on his 6.0 and its a real runner

 

Where did you get that info from? Have you called Eric and told him you're not happy with the tune? He will set you up. Good luck with RCD. Great company, but they're on the 6.4 tuning big time now, not sure how fast you'll get those tunes, but worth a shot! Let us know how you like them!

Also if if it tells you anything.... A LOT of 6.4 guys are going with Eric @ Innovative now for their tuning because the transmission tuning is supposed to blow Spartan and RCD out of the water now. Eric seems to take a little more time getting his stuff to the market, but it's usually worth the wait. Just what I've been reading on the forums anyways...

 

I actually Called GOS today on the count of noone around here is running there tunes im gonna try them first then if im not impressed ill call up RCD they actually shipped me my DPF delete kit for my dads 6.4L overnight no charge on shipping im really impressed with service from RCD but I like Steel and Aden down at GOS to so im gonna give GOS a shot first ill have my tunes in the morning I will let you guys know how I like them and heads up Ive seen People run these innovative tunes with different stradegys on the 6.0 and really love them but I have the latest ford stradegy and it was an alright tune defenatly better than my Dia BLOW and Edge Juice w/A but not as good as some of my friends SCT tunes with this stradegy... But HANDS DOWN SCT IS THE **** FOR 6.0L Powerstrokes

 

It's gonna be apples to oranges comparing a tune that is meant for daily driving and towing up to 10klbs to other tuners hot tunes...!?

If you weren't happy with the power of the street tune, why not just step up to extreme tunes? A few years back there was a dyno chart floating around with different tuners hottest stud safe tunes, and Innovative was at the top.
