Default Ok New Issue, Little power acceleration from stand still

Ok, now that the socket is out, upon starting the truck (cold start) there is no smoke at idle, after letting the truck run for about 5 mins I took it for a ride. White smoke streams out and then settles down to almost nothing once at speed. When the truck is completely warmed up and moving down the road the smoke stops completely. Come to a stop and go to take off I have little power, I have to put my foot into it to get it to kick in and go. When I do this there is a little bit of white smoke and then it turns to black smoke, not much and the truck runs ok, no smoking but lacks power. Any ideas what this might be?

To date I have changed two injectors, cleaned the EGR Valve, added Rev-X (which actually helped the smoke issue), checked for coolant leaks (there is none), checked codes and there is none, checked air filter (nice and clean). I'm at a loss now. I am thinking turbo might be the issue. I have no boost gauge to know the psi on it or am not sure if it is working. Anyway suggestions please so I can put this truck behind me.

How many miles on the truck, how is it primarily used and how often, any mods?

Sounds like turbo vanes might be sticking...

Sorry, there is 118764 miles on the truck, no mods and is used as a daily driver, highway, and in town. I do not tow with it but then again, it's been sitting mostly for the past 6 months with the last 4 months of me working on it or it's been in the shop.

I've had it out on the hwy and opened it up, sounds like the turbo was working and it got up to speed quickly but, you can still tell it wasn't giving it's all.

It's most likely the vanes rusted in place. You might want to just try driving the **** out of it for a day or two, WOT runs from a stand still, floor it on the interstate, etc. If that doesnt work, you'll have to remove and clean it.

Well the turbo is just fine, tested the FICM and got 17V key on and 20 volt engine on. Did the repair bit reinstalled and got 17.6V key on and 22v engine on. Guess I found out what my problem is now.
