OK that's 8000 lbs If you don't have a pyrometer to keep up with your temps you would be safer to go to a tow program. My CC SB 4X4 weighs 7500lbs so that's would be close to 16,000 lbs. If you get to drive on mostly level areas for short distance you would be alright with out a tow tune.

im waiting on Innovative to send me my tunes im interested to see what this agressive tow tune is gonna do with my sct today i hauled my wdx1203 swather with my 30 foot donahue trailer combo trailer and swather without pickup attached somewhere around 24-26000 pounds pulled with failed EGR system at 70mph stock EGTs never over 1100 degrees I was impressed thats a **** pot of wieght plus its way tall on the trailer so the wind drag was huge but my p-stroke is just a monster with that trailer on 70 mph not even trying... i didnt take any hills it was just flats but about 50 miles ha ha I love it

I use Innovatives aggressive tow. I love it. I haul a 21' camper with it on and it gets. It's about 70hp over stock and the transmission tuning is just awesome. With tow/haul on you have a LOT of control over the load. I've grossed as high as 17,100lbs using this tow tune and it still got the truck going pretty good, and didn't get anywhere near hot. Towing the camper a few weeks ago uphill, I was pushing probalby 27ish PSI, and never got over 1000 degrees.
