Mine is right at the end of the manifold.'

You can see it in the right hand side. I have buried my 1600 degree gauge more than once.

Your headgaskets are shot, I've already told you that.

Can your banks datalog anything? You need to check coolant temp vs. oil temp. I bet the oil cooler is clogged and the headgaskets are definitely shot if you're puking coolant with an EGR cooler delete.

It's getting that hot because you are probably pretty low on coolant now. Is the fan kicking on a lot? Try towing with stock settings, without the Banks unit on. It will help.

google search the 6.0 bible and it will show you a lot of stuff like location of parts on the motor and what not Brad.

twinboys, yes they have them, I haven't heard of one failing though. (not saying they couldn't) but his symptoms are exactly like blown headgaskets. If it was the thermostat and not headgaskets, I'd eat my own hat.

I heard of a guy over on the ORG the other day that actually had his thermostat go bad. he said his temps were coming up to about 210-215 unloaded and he changed his thermostat and viola. Not saying thats your problem just saying it happens. But i'd say Mdub is probably right on the money with everything he has told you.

dont pay any attention to what the banks monitor is telling you.. especially on something like what you are dealing with. it is not accurate or reliable

That's true too. It's only re-reading what the stock stuff is reading and displaying it for you. If the stock stuff is wrong, then so is the Banks module. This is the exact reason I always recommend stand-alone gauges with a programmed truck. Just preference though I guess.
