Cool. Though, the up-pipes are exhaust pipes to the turbo for driving it, I think what you're referring to is the intercooler tubing, or CAC tubes. Up-pipe and down-pipe are all on exhaust side, not intake side, just FYI.

Passenger side is easy for you guys with single alternators, if you have dual alts, the drivers side is way easier.

I just did the ford banjo bolts and airdog 2 today. . . So far feels little better but I have not driven too far tho. Best thing I did for mine was ficm repair seen elsewhere here. . My truck was down( 24 v at cranking) Ed turned around in a day quick shipped back! Very impressed! ! ! Had 40 hp tuNe added and full service. . Makes my heavy diesel pickup feel like HO f150!!! And 2 miles per gallon better!! Just hope I can keep my heavy right foot out of it to keep the better mpg!

It's funny you bumped this thread up... my opinions on fuel systems have changed since this was first posted. Now everyone seems to be getting away from the AD2's due to issues with them. We also didn't really have sumps back then, that we do now.

Sump to AD150 to A1000 (or fuel lab or similar) direct to heads and a regulated return if you have the cash. Some go right from sump to the A1000 (or fuel lab) too, but that's your call. A pusher pump is never a bad thing.

Default Wish I had looked deeper

I was kinda stuck with a failing pump, saw some posts and got going again. I m pretty close to stock for now . . Was eying the rear head regulated return idea. . I'm happy for now with my setUp. . I have a connection for the airdog, helped a little. Hope I don't have too many problems with it . . Will pay more attention next mod! I can see why the 6.4 bolts will flow better, can't be bad there. . And I really enjoy the ficm rebuild! I don't realize how fast I'm goin and mileage much better. . . I was at 12... 12.5 on lie o meter . . Now solid 15 .. 15.4 . . .i think that alone will return my investment as I do all labor . . Looking forward to reading what's working for better mileage, longer life and more fun!

Can't complain with a 3 mpg improvement!
