Come on guys, Reading all these post I kinda feel bad for tdillo. He said he was completly new to diesels. And on the other hand, Calling the guys d bags is a bad way to start. There is more knowledge on this sight than most International shops. These guys will be able to help you do anything you want to with your rig. But Its a thorn in most peoples side when you cry for soot. Because of the guys that just want to shut down highways and **** of imports, most states are cracking down on diesels. And with you being in texas we are starting to get pinpointed. They passed new laws last year about roaling coal and catalityc converters. Sct turner and straight pipe and see how you like it first. Thats an easy 800+ bucks. Its like with everything, its a progression. Keep adding till you are divorced, broke, or happy. And in my case all 3

If you want 1200 hp..yea better have a good job or win the lottery. Start by selling the 6.0 and get either a duramax or cummins.
or a 6.4 Powerstroke.

I just realized I hadn't done this, so I wanted to apologize to those I called d-bags, an those who I offended by saying it. Honestly, ive always thought black smoke was cool, and I hate how the frickin government is trying to run our lives! After seeing talks replies, I'm not into black smoke so much. I'd still like some so I can show off against others here in Texas while it's not such a big deal and we can get away with it. I have 7inch Aussie cut stacks. I took out the cat converter and the muffler and put five inch pipe in as close to the engine as I could. I've just ordered some arp head studs, an sct tuner, an egr delete, and a new intake. Now I just have to find a shop tht will install the studs, and do it at a good price. Anyone know what a good price would be for the stud installation? Thanks for everyones' help! I am now on this site more than any other, and I'm on it every day! I can't think of any vehicle I'd rather drive than my truck! Thanks again guys!
