I want as much black smoke as possible!

I use the Edge Juice Platinum on my 6.0 and really like it. With a 3.5 down tube, a 4 inch tail pipe and the front removed from my rig runs in the 14s at 4000ft ASL. Not too shabby for a more or less stock 7000 pound truck on 35s.
Don't be hatin on me because I'm not using SCT, it was a choice that I am happy with.

I know of at least 3 6.0s over 1000rwhp off the top of my head, and I'm sure there is more. They come at a price though.
You want 1000rwhp and you are looking at diablosport and edge products? Keep looking... you'll NEVER get there with them. You NEED the SCT for the custom tunes when you do other mods like turbo and injector upgrades. The other's will not support that.
Just please read around a LOT, do some searching and just absorb as much info as possible.

You're new to diesels and you got a 6.0 so slow down a little. As far as smoke goes I think you already got the standard forum answer for that. As far as 1200hp, you probably can't afford it, it wouldn't get 20mpg and you wouldn't want to drive it back and forth to work. With a 6.0 you can have alot of fun with a SCT and some custom tunes and a open exhaust, don't waste your time with another programer. With Erics extreme race you should be a little over 400hp, you could get around 18-20mpg and its fun to drive. If you need to tow switch to a towing tune and tow away. When you go past that point it gets real expensive and honestly you probably won't like your truck as much.

um...1000hp is nearly impossible for any avg person. ur talkin 10 of thousands in parts alone. plus ever month or 2 ur talking several thousand in parts that need to repair. so ya unless ur bill gates' kid give up on that. 400 to 500 is alot of power from a driveable 6.0 that still can tow. u can probly go to 550 to 600 if you NEVER tow and NEVER haul anything. (unless u run expensive twins).
basicly start slow...drop some money on arp studs and an egr delete first followed quickly by a sct tuner w/ custom tunes. then very shortly after do an exhaust (ur egts wont be good if you dont do an exhaust) then save ur money and do some injectors and a turbo. (so will argue the order but ya...this is the way im doin my truck)

Whoa..no need for name calling tdillo. You kinda asked for it in your first post. Do an egr delete from FCDP or GoGo Diesel, ARP headstuds, 4"exhaust,SCT with custom tunes, you can get a bunch of stuff from our great site sponsors And if you still wanna get smoke and no power....please come down to College Station and let me show you what real power is with hardly any smoke in my truck. If you want 1200 hp..yea better have a good job or win the lottery. Start by selling the 6.0 and get either a duramax or cummins.
