That aint no joke. I'm a hair under 64,000 miles, and my oasis report will make a grown man cry. Thanks Chad

If you want 1200hp, start by selling your 6.0 because it aint happening. Mind you there are a couple that are close to that, but they are competition only vehicles and they sure aint getting 22mpg. You'd be hard pressed to find a stocker to do that...

Also was 1200hp and 1000ft/lbs some kind of typo? That's like gas job numbers. 1200hp better come with 2000ft/lbs or more.... and a 6.0 with numbers like that doesn't exist and if it did, you could buy a big house for the same amount it would cost to build that motor alone.

Gotta love the amount of douchebags on this site! Thanks for those who actually helped. For the others, how bout you get past your bs, and help someone who actually wants to learn!
You've got to admit that your first post warranted the type of replies you received. CF
Great minds do think alike. Most drivers of diesel trucks fear the day that the EPA says "NO MORE" because they pollute with large black clouds of soot.
Black smsoke is just unburnt fuel that will kill your turbo in a VERY short time. Call Eric at Innovative Diesel and discuss what you are looking for in terms of power and they can get you started. You will also need gauges to monitor engine and trans etc.

And it's "Mr. Douchebag"

I would like to see a good amount of black smoke when I accelerate, but I don't want to kill people around me with the fumes. Lol. Like I said, I'm new, so I want to learn from those who are more experienced than I am. I'm not cocky and and I now know not to mention black smoke like I did before, and I apologize, but I have no respect for rude people, especially when we all share a passion, and I'm just trying to be the best I can. I thank the people who were curteous and helped me out, and I look forward to learning from you.
50 grand and another 10 about every 2 to 3 months.

Junk, with some junk mixed in... Great big pile of junk is what I think of those...

SCT tuner, SCT3 would be the best right now, with tunes from one of the known 6.0 tuners...

There is only 2 6.0's that I know of that are over 1000hp... Both are not DD trucks, and 80%-90% of the stuff on them is one off...

Lets start with how much you want to spend...

I think 600hp is about as far as i'd wanna go with a daily driven 6.0, and you're looking at some pretty serious mods to get it reliable at that level on fuel only, the transmissions on these trucks are wonderful, arguably the best out there, but for reliability's sake i'd get head studs asap, egr delete, sct with custom tunes, exhaust, intake, and maybe some injectors then i think you'll be at a high power level and maybe a transmission that is beefed up just for safety's sake

Please keep your EYES on the road while accelerating not watching the black smoke. The life you save might be mine.

Oh my... There is a 01 7.3 local to me and he has just 650hp and he has alil over 15k under the hood.... So yea time to do some research on your truck and then ask questions to fill in the blanks. There's alot of good info there to read and soak in.

I use the Edge Juice Platinum on my 6.0 and really like it. With a 3.5 down tube, a 4 inch tail pipe and the front removed from my rig runs in the 14s at 4000ft ASL. Not too shabby for a more or less stock 7000 pound truck on 35s.

Don't be hatin on me because I'm not using SCT, it was a choice that I am happy with.
