Default 6.0 troubles or maybe not if its normal

So I was having Trouble with a 2005 E450 with a 6.0 diesel in a 16 passenger bus...
It smokes Blue really bad.. Its a Bug killer... It has 43,000 miles on it..
But the speed that they drive in is only 15 mph unless they go get Fuel that is 30 mph.. I am thinking that this bus was gunked up with Carbon So I dumped a bottle of PS grey and took it for a Long Highway drive at 80 mph full throttle the hole time.. 20 some miles I'd say... Truck runs like a Champ now... But my other Question is
the Turbo is leaking Oil into the intake WTF is up with that Its also normal to do it too..Why is that???? something with the EGR tube going into the intake???? I need a little more understanding of this...

It's the crank case vent, it vents into the intake right in front of the turbo so it goes through the turbo and through the all the intercooler piping as well. It's normal, but messy. There are crankcase vent relocation kits or you can make one yourself. I'd assume it goes into the intake for emissions reasons, but it can make your intercooler boots oily.

where does the crank case relocation kit put into the intake system? any where past the turbo would pressurize the crank case wouldn't it? or is there a catch can with a drain back into the oil pan and the vapor returnes to the intake? just curious because mine makes a mess of my boots as well, and personally I think that it leads to a shorted life of the boots, having already replacing my boots because of a split one?? maybe an evacuation system that put it into the exhaust in the turbo down pipe with a check valve,they have them for race cars and they work very well, though not EPA legal. there it might pull a vacuum and actually suck it out of the crank case.???

Most people just run it back to the end of the truck and let it drip on the ground. Right now it's in front of the turbo so you'd think it'd be pulling a ridiculous vacuum like that anyways. There are some setups with catch cans. Some have plumbed them into the exhaust, but I guess getting the angle at which it enters the exhaust system is crucial for making sure it doesn't become pressurized.

I've seen guys make crank case evacuation systems for high performance engines from smog pumps used on cars in the 70's, instead of pulling in outside air from the air cleaner they draw the vapors out of the crank case and dump them into the exhaust at the collectors of the headers,this is a low pressure area of the headers. moroso used to have check valves that would allow the vapor to enter the exhaust system and not pressurize the crank case. Empco makes a nice little catch can that all of the vapor hoses run into inside the can is a diverter to seperate the heavy oil vapor from oil and let it drain back to the oil pan, I've used these on my buggies for years, the trick is to mount the can high enough for the oil to feed back into the crank case. just a thought.
