Around here (Wisconsin) it is supposed to be chilly every night this week, dropping to around 30-35 degrees, and rainy. That's good testing weather for the cold start issue. I am guessing it will be similar weather in at least some of your locations.

We'll be making more calls today! We want to get the rest of the test packages out today!

If you're still looking , I'd like to be considered.

2006 6.0l 99,875 mi.

SCT tuner w/ Innovative tunes
4" tb exhaust w/o cat
S&B air filter

Hard starting, white smoke until warm, slight loss of power until oper. temps.

Cranks for 5 to 8 seconds before starting.

Thanks for considering me.

I'm looking forward to seeing the results posted even if I'm not chosen.

Got mine today in the mail. Been making some videos of the truck running at startup and driving up the road. Recorded cold startup and stood outside for a few seconds.

I was thinking of pulling some oil for a Oil Sample before installing the Rev-X. I was thinking of removing the Oil Filter and taking some oil from inside of the canister. I don't have a very good memory and can not remember if all the oil drains out before you put the new filter in. I was thinking of just changing the oil filter to a new one right now and when I ran the Rev-X for a while and change my oil take another sample.

I have about 2,600 miles on current oil change of Rotella 5-40W synthetic. Did about 800 miles of towing during this change most is daily drives to school just long enough to get everything warmed up.

Need some Ideas Quick Don't want to pull the plug to drain it and only other option would be to suck up up through the dip stick.

Sounds good guys! That's great that some of you got the Rev-X already!

DoneDunIt, Andy's going to give you a call to talk about your questions.

Andy called while I was out hunting something to take a oil sample. I found some tubing for an ice-maker that fits down into the dip stick tube. I had a large syringe and used it to pull the oil up out of the pan while it was hot. Going to wait till tomorrow and experience my first cold start and run then give Andy a call. I make a video this morning and will make another on the next cold start run with the Rev-X in. Just what short time I have drove so far I had been watching the Boost PSI for the last 2 weeks and had felt it had been low. After Adding the Rev-X I think they are a little higher now. Might just be a change in the weather because it is now raining outside. I have not had a chance to put the pedal to the floor yet. I did notice on a 1/2 throttle through the gears I saw a 23 PSI when before I usually see 15 to 18. Maybe the Rev-X is freeing up the turbo some????

papachuck, if you got yours today, mine should be in soon. They're calling for frost warning tonight and as low as 25 degrees here. Should be interesting. I can not WAIT to get mine in!
