Default ICP SENSOR

Hey folks
I have an unusual starting problem. Well, maybe not unusual for a 6.0! Anyway, I have an 04 1/2, 75,000 miles, 4" exhaust, AirRaid cold air intake, AMSOIL by pass oil filter and an edge platinum I only run on 2 when towing my 5th wheel. I mainly use the pod for additional gauge readouts.
Sometimes after driving a while and then letting it set and sometimes coming out first thing in the morning, first start of the day, it turns over but won't start. While cranking I get full oil pressure on the gauge, have good voltage, I change the fuel filters every year, run cetane boost and conditioner, and so on. Everytime this has happened all I do is disconnect the batteries, wait a few minutes, hook them back up and after cranking a couple times it fires right up and runs beautiful. It doesn't miss, run rough, there are no oil leaks and I'm a maintenance nut.
I read that an ICP sensor can go bad and keep it from starting. I checked the sensor, no oil pushing through, but the info I read said an ICP sensor can go bad and not necessarily commit a DTC. What to do? Anyone else have this problem? There is no pattern in how it happens, i.e. light driving vs. heavy driving, just setting and so on. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Try unplugging the icp should fool the computer in firing the injectors. If it works unplugged change the icp and pigtail.

also, try clearing your code right before you start it, see if it does anything? worth a try atleast

Show me a 6.0 that doesn't have a wet bellhousing. I've yet to see one in person.

Try what mlinder said.
