I think its worse if you try hiding your tuner especially if it leaves a trail, because if your willing to take everything off to lie about it, then they are going to be less willing to work with you. Most dealers I have dealt with are great when it comes to aftermarket parts, as long as they get paid in the end they don't care what was on it. I've gone to my dealer several times with my old Edge Juice on with the Attitude monitor on the dash and I get more questions about how it runs with the Edge rather than "we can't warranty it"

Also, it's the Magnuson Moss Act that enables us to chip our trucks and still have warranty. Under this Act, in order to deny warranty work, the dealer must provide in writting how the item in question caused the issue at hand. When my EGR went out, and it was in the shop they weren't going to warranty it becasue of the Edge, but once I asked for proof of the failure due to the Edge in writing they warrantied it. Alot of people dont know about this Act, that is why dealers are able to deny warranties because alot of people are uneducated when it comes to this matter

And, one more thing, my 06 is in the shop as we speak getting a new tranny put installed and my SCT is mounted right in the corner of the window and the only thing they said about it was if it was better than the Edge that I was running
