Default DTC Codes

got the followings codes and my truck wont even pull a hill unless it is in 4 low. p0270, p0272, p0276, u3660, and the last ones look like p132B or p1328 or p1326 can really see it that well. anybody got any clue at what kind of problems i am looking at here. i have owned this truck for 2 weeks and it has been nothing but a headach and money pit.

Issues with cylinder #4 and #6. not sure what the "U" code is. What are you reading codes with? I've seen some of the generic programmers read codes as a "U" code, then read them with an SCT and got a "P" code which made more sense to the issues at hand.

My guess is the FICM is failing. I posted detailed instructions on testing and repairing it on your own, without paying the $$$ for a new one! Try searching for it. If I find it I will post it.

My buddy used to use a bullydog triple downloader and it would come up with U codes instead of the proper P codes.

I'm still saying FICM, it's free to test it and fix it so I would try that. Just need a multi-meter and some soldering skills.

Could be, might not be. Yes I posted the FICM info a few weeks ago, it should be on here. I would try and resolve that first. The procedure does call for testing the FICM cold and hot, so it may also be part of this problem.

Here, this will help!

had the exact some problem on my truck wouldnt start hot but if i let it set for an hr or so it would simi hard start...for me it was a HPOP going out but with your other problems idk...

most of the time that a 6.0 wont start hard i would blame it on the HPOP or something oil related because of the change in oil viscosity when it is hot vs when it is cold...

STC fitting comes to mind, but I didn't think it was an issue with his year truck...
