Coolant gone?

Default Coolant gone?

What crosses yalls mind bout this
every time i drive anywhere even if its a 10 min. drive i lose a butt load of coolant..
ive heard thermastat, head blown, resivor bottle, resivor lid
ive replaced the bottle and lid and its still comin out the lid like crazy..and leaks down the driver side wheel directly under the resivor bottle.. help me out yall

If it comes out that fast, headgaksets for sure.

Yea that's not good at all. EGR cooler could be jacked up as well. Hope you got some wrenching skills.

i'm leaning towards headgaskets. mine did the same thing just not that bad. it started out only if i was haauling or pulling something, then it was if i was going up a long hill and then it would blow it out randomly driving it.

Well i just put in a egr delete from sinister diesel and new oil cool also
but today it started dripping out the bottom right of the radiator?

I blew the radiator now...hows this??

Blown head gasket pressurizing the coolant system (cylinder to coolant passage) and your radiator end tanks were the weak link.

Thinkin out loud fyi

I think the cap would blow far before the radiator. I guess it could happen, but never heard of it in all my forum searching.

The cap is made to be the weak link, so the coolant would come out that first, before breaking more expensive parts.

Are you SURE it's coming out the radiator?

Had a buddy with a 6.0 and it blew out the over flow due to a bad EGR but anything is possible......

More likely a chit radiator though.

i replaced the bad lid a new resivore and the teeth on the bottom of the radiator came unclamped and was dripping out the radiator took the radiator out and to a shop..said its blown
