Default ELIMINATING THE MUFFLER?

I have 2005 6.0 powerstroke. Can I eliminate the muffler without messing up the computer? Will it throw a code? Should I wait till the warranty is up? Any answers for me? Thanks!!

Take it off. It wont harm a single thing. It will improve sound and EGT's.

Dump the muffler and gut your cat, you will like the sound.

I recommend this for off road only.

Just a visual inspection. Depends on where you bring it. Most small shops could care less. I just had mine done with no cat or muffler on it. $10 out the door.

I've also brought mine in for multiple warranty issues with my stacks with no muffler or cat and they never say anything.
