Default Spitballing here?

Would there be any benifit at all to disconnect the VGT control Valve. The "VGTCV". From what I read the vanes would remain in an open state. So basically you would have a basic Turbo. I am pesonaly having turbo problems right now and this might be a easy cheap fix untill I can afford a new turbo.

Should see massive lag and low boost. They default in the "open" position, because if they defaulted to the closed position they would build dangerous levels of boost, cause high EGT's and overspeed the turbo.

So you shouldn't hurt anything if you unplug it and it defaults to the open state. Should feel like a slug though.
