Default electrical problems 2003 6.0

First off I am new to the ford side of this site,I just bought a 2003 f-350 6.0 and have already had my first problem. And I am looking for the right direction to go in. Besides sitting it in the yard and driving the dodge. It started with the radio going off and on after hitting a bump. Parked it at work for 12 hours went to leave and the batt was dead, jumped the truck let it run for 20-30 min before heading home this is when the problems got worse.Driving down the road the dash lights would go dim and get brighter. The headlights were dimmer than usual.Iwent to roll the windows down they rolled about half way down and just quit ,the lights on the door switches went off then right back on and the windows started to work slowley again. Then the gauges all went off but the back lights on them were still on. I turned on the defroster and the gauges started working again. This happend several times on my 20 mile drive home, I guess I should be happy to have made it home. I pulled in the yard shut the truck off and it wont start dead batt problem once again. Any ideas or anyone with similer problems please let me know. I have wanted a powerstoke for a while but after 2 days I am starting to question my choice, thanks in advance for your help.

It could also be your alternator. Your truck starts shutting things off as your battr=eries are draing, kind of a limp home mode.
