now really trucks shouldnt have to be re-flashed at all, any vehicle really doesnt need to be flashed unless something serious has gone wrong, unless its something like an engine wiring harness or an actual ecm problem. i seriously doubt you need a re-flashing for this

icp, egr, and icp fixed the problem so far...an expensive visit to the dealer

The 03's had older flashes where the injectors cycled after the truck was shut down, which made them hard to start sometimes, and it also put a lot of strain on the FICM. The newer flash was the inductive heat flash which made cold starts a lot easier. Ford would release new flashes every so often as they learned what the trucks liked and didn't like. The latest one actually cycles the veins on the turbo at idle to keep them from sticking.

You may wanna get your injectors checked. my 6.0 would start cold all the time so i took it to the ford place and i had two bad injectors. that may not be your problem but never no.
