Hi everyone!

New to this board and would like to say hello. I've found the info so far to be very helpful, but I've got a few questions if anyone would like to help me out.

I have an 06 F-250 6.0 that is pure stock. I would like to start making some mods, but i don't want to get too crazy. I'm thinking intake, cat back and a tuner. But because of money, (as in I don't have much) I'm going to have to do them one at at time. So, what order would you do them in, AND, brand recomendations would be greatly appreciated. I saw a guy's truck locally who had a Bank's monster exhaust and intake and it sounded great, so I'm leaning that way, but I'd like opinions if you want to give them. As for the tuner, I'm looking for better performance and better mpg (if that's possible).

thanks in advance for the help. this is a great site.

First of all . second thing; be careful asking for opinions as most on here aren't shy , and will gladly give them. To actually answer your questions - IMO - I don't have one on the Banks systems, as I have no experience with them. As it was stated to me some time ago ( on here) A 4" turbo back exhaust (( I like MBRP personally),not just because I won one on Diesel Bombers free giveaway once)), A good cold intake system (opinions vary on these), and a SCT tuner with custom tunes. This combination should give you a 400+ rocket which is fairly safe for engine and tranny. A set of gauges and ARP headstuds are also commonly recommended. Hope this helps more than confuses.

A custom tuned SCT and a 4" turbo back exhaust to get your feet wet. Don't get an intake the OEM one is just fine till you are swapping injectors and turbo. Use the cash for gauges and be happy!!

stock intake, 4" tb from your choice of material and supplier, and custom tune SCT.

Then save your money for ARP headstuds, and EGR delete.

A set of gauges and a coolant filter are also good options, though not 100% necessary. (gauges should be done anyways IMO).

4" straight pipe fromt he turbo back will make your truck sound like a straight jet plane it's awesome. Some Arp headstuds if you plan on using that power to embarrass all the tuner cars around by a truck. and an SCT tuner w/ custom tunes will set you up right I'm trying to sell my egde to get an sct tuner...
