Default coolant leak from front

I have a 03 f350 6.0l with 225000km have done egr deleat, oil cooler, and i think i was called inj.cups ( had diesel in my coolant ). Now again i have a coolant leak, i crawled under and looked up at the front of the motor and seen it running down the front. I am still getting coolant that still has an odor of diesel blowing out the cap of the degas bottle. Any guesses to what i could try and look at or check?

If it's blowing out the degas cap, and you've already got an EGR delete.... it's probably the headgaskets...

When the head gaskets go do they not usually leak coolant into the engine?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I thought that I read somewhere on this site that a person may still get coolant blowing out the degas cap with the egr deleat

Well when the headgaskets go the cylinders will over-pressurize the coolant system and force coolant out the degas cap, then when you shut the truck off, the coolant system is now pressurized and the cylinders have nothing, so now the coolant is pushed back into the cylinders. This obviously isn't the only scenario to show you have blown headgaskets. I had a buddies truck do this though, and it was a bear to start in the mornings because of the coolant in the cylinders. It eventually got so bad that the valve guides corroded and valves started sticking and made contact with the pistons. It was a complete mess. It broke rocker arms and destroyed a cylinder/piston. This is obviously a worst case scenario, from someone who let it go for too long without fixing the leaky headgaskets.

To answer your second question... there are guys with headstuds/new gaskets and EGR deletes that still have coolant puking out...

If you place a pot of water on a stove, cover it with a lid and turn the heat on HIGH what happens? Why do you think your coolant is any different?

Check the T-stat housing....

leak was comming from o-ring in the oil cooler. Looks like i still have diesel going into my coolant, caused the oring to swell up and become soft.I must still be getting diesel into the coolant from a cracked head Thats my only guess............
