Truck idles real bad/shakes & bucks over 40mph
I have a 2003 Ford F-250 with a 6.0 Ltr. The only mods I have on the truck are a 6" lift and bigger wheels and tires.
My problem is this:
All of a sudden when driving home yesterday, the truck started idling real bad kind of like it wanted to die, then once I tried to get going and started reaching 45 mph, the truck started shaking REAL bad and bucking. I have never had this happen before. Any ideas?
I did have the ICP sensor and the MAF sensor changed out about 6 months ago, and I also had the EGR changed out about 1 year ago. The truck ran fine until now. Any ideas? Oh yeah, and the "check engine light" is NOT on. I don't have a diagnostic machine so I don't know if it has any codes.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks again,
Joe

My truck seems to be doing the same thing but in addition it blows blue smoke until warm , took it to have the computer scanned they showed it to have a misfire on cylinder 4 but then later showed low circuit voltage on 1, doesnt seem to be injector because it would come up same cylinder everytime, leaning towards the ficm but it cost about 900 and you have to send it to ford to have the damn thing flashed for an additional charge. Just tryin to not waste my money so if anyone has had this shuddering problem and got it fixed please let us know what you had to do..
