Wanna see your truck run like crap, lower the fuel pressure...

Now a gauge would be a great idea, I'm thinkin that I like that billet fuel gauge adapter.
Lower pressure would hurt obviously, but higher pressure wont help. @55psi feeding the injectors, there is no reason that more PSI will help... We're not talking mechanically injected motors here. This is all electronic, the injectors are controlled by the FICM, and they are just fed by whatever the pump is pushing. As long as you have a constant 55psi, you aren't going to gain anything by going to 60psi... if the injectors are full, having more pressure to keep them at that same "fill" spot wont make a difference. That was the only point I was trying to make.

As a side note, the "upgraded spring" that we've talked about... I've found posts on some of the forums where guys were removing them because it was TOO MUCH pressure. I read some guys were having over 100psi going through their system and the spring was not regulating below that. That would lead to some blown seals/o-rings. Just some food for thought.

Innovative Diesel Performance. 6.0 masters.

Instead of buying the billet fuel filter cap and using the port on the top of that, you can just put a gauge on the test port on the stock fuel bowl. Just simply remove the plug and insert your fittings... easy as pie.
