i had the same problems. the dealership replaced my ficm and it still kept happening. it does it here and there now. i think its the ipc sensor. when i have hard starts i unplug it and it fires right up. also when its running and surges i unplug my egr and it goes away. a delete kit in in the near future

My truck has
EGR delete
SCT Livewire

Airdog lift pump
After Market oil cooler
S&B air intake
4 inch turbo back straight pipe
Zoodad mod
It runs great but surges and idles ruff. I will do the fuel filters and see what happens

Could be any number of things. ICP, EBP sensor, combustion gas in the fuel rail, FICM going to ****....

yeah my 07 is having a surging issue too! Filters changed, how do I "unplug" my EGR or IPC sensor? not sure where they are. Right now no codes, makesit a PIA to drive though.

If you do not run a custom tune on your sct, it could be that. My truck has gone through 3 programmers with high rpm surging, got the custom race tune from innovative and has not surged since. I did have a surging issue before the chip but that was at idle and it was the icp sensor. Hope this helps. If it does not surge on stock tuning and you run the tunes that come with the livewire you would know for sure.

took mine to the local dealership, it was surging, they were gonna check the ICP when they saw I have a TS performance MP8. Of course thats as far as they went. Blamed it on the MP8. I brought the truck home, disconnected the TS Performance MP8 but had to leave it at that. Will know tomorrow. But at least I know where my ICP is.
