Fuel pressure check?

Fuel pressure check?
Hello,
New to diesel bombers and like the diversity here...diesel wise at least.
I have a 6 peter (as my cummins buddy calls it), it hard to start, stumbles alot when it does start, and it feels like its missin on couple of cylinders. Cylinder contribution codes for 2 and 5 are coming up. I work at KTP where we make them and was chatting with IH rep and he said to checkmy fuel pressure up to WOT. he said that could cause bad injectors. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to check the fuel pressure without buying a 200+ dollar kit? Im tempted to drill and tap a 1/4 npt hole in the port on the fuel filter housing and tap into it there. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks, I did find it and I am going to go try and find a fuel pressure testing kit today. I came across one at advance auto but it stated not for use on diesel or flex fuel systems. It had a 100psi gauge with it. Im not the adapter in it will work its like an M12x1.50 odd ball thread. Have any idea why it wouldnt work? That 6 liter bible has alot of info in it. Thanks !
Update: the kit i got at harbor freight also said not for diesel but worked fine after i jb welded the only 12mm banjo bolt adapter that was in it up to make it work. It read 60psi even at 2300 rpm, thats about all it would do consistently. It did bounce at the same frequency as the miss it has. So i guess its on to the IPR and injectors. It has set contribution codes for 2 and 5 twice.
