Default Upfitters..

My bro has an 06 King ranch 6.0 and the cheap dealer ordered it without upfitters. Is it possible to buy and install factory upfitters? And if so; How?

Just buy the switches (I think that's what you're talking about) and there's a plug kit too......I did it to my 05 Lariat. Just plugs in, real easy.

I bought the switches at the dealer. They said the wires were behind the dash. They weren't. I went to a couple more dealers till I found one who figured out I needed the wiring harness. Ordered it from the other dealer and it went together quick.

what wiring harness are you talking about.. does it come with the wires that are at the front and rear or do you just have to do your own wiring to the switches??

Find Powerstrokeshop.com with Google and they have the whole kit plus instructions. Fairly simple if you already have Geico...........

The upfitters have a plug on the back of them, the truck is pre-wired with a plug too. They don't match so you have to get the wiring harness between the two (truck and switches) It's been 3 or 4 years since I did it to mine and I don't have that pickup anymore so I'm trying to recollect the best I can. I wired up some off road lights to them and they worked real well. Another switch was used for a transfer tank pump cutoff switch. Only thing I didn't like is that the switches don't have any power with the key off. After having the upfitters I've come to the conclusion that, while neat. They didn't fill my needs, nor did the truck. I hope you find what you need.
