Ok so i put on my new exhaust from diesel dawgs performance and my dad went to a place called Aggieland Automotive and my dad started talkin to a mechanic and my dad told them about my exhaust. Its a straight piped 4" line, no cat, no muffler. anyways the mechanic said something to my dad about the egr valve and since i got the exhaust the egr valve will be sticking open or closed.....my dad couldnt remember which one the mechanic said, but if you could kindly answer this problem it will be greatly appreciated. Jake

On most of the 6.0 I've known it doesn't matter what exhaust you have. They like to stick regardless. I had a buddy with a completely stock truck replace the EGR valve 3 times in 6 months.

I would do an EGR delete if I were you.

clean it . very simple . the dealer also offers an INDUCTION or an INJECTION cleaning service .
