Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep my egts down i already have a cold air intake and a 4inch turboback straight pipe on my truck

they are getting upwards of 1250 when i let out of it

I am not 100% sure but water menthol injection may help it helped my buddies EGT's

what programmer are you running, you can also do the zoodad mod, it helps let more air and helps out a little. just need some more info to help you out man, are these egts pulling, or just driving.info such as this

i am running a edge juice with attitude and sometimes a ppe but the egts get that high when its turned up and racing but on the highway they about 750 on stock what is the zoodad mod?

racing is the key word to your problem, they will get that high when running like that or towing.. you will be fine as long it is not for an extended period of time.. but water/meth, bigger intercooler, will help out a lot with egts. but the zoodad mod is cutting a hole in front of the air box inlet to let air go straight into the intake.. i can get you some pics if you want.. i know when i was testing mine on the 1/4 my egts got that hot for a little bit as well.

yeah i know i shouldnt be racing and all but all my buddies got cummins and duramax and i get tired of them talking down on my stroke so take em out and have to show them

hell ya man nothing wrong with that just like said make sure you dont push that 1250* for extended periods of time and youl be fine...

quick question for ya how hard was it to put your headstuds in and did you have to take thae cab off to do it like everyone has been telling me that i have to do i got one of those boost foolers and dont want to try it untill i got aftermarket headstuds in
