Well, yeah I know about the 6.0s and the HG issues and EGR issues. I'm pretty sure everyone does. I think most diesels today are struggling with an EGR problem in some form.
But what are the chances on a stock truck or even a truck with a mild programmer?
Does losing the EGR mean less of a possibility of a HG failure?
Is there something a guy needs to look at to try and see if a HG failure is in the near future?

Charleys son just ditched a 05 6.0
he had it for 2 years and 3 sets of injectors, a fuel pump and that EGR valve
wasnt runnin fer crap the day of the trade
odd thisg is all the work was done at the Ford shop but nuttin shows up on a carfax search.....it shows clean
I have 2200 bucks into that truck and Charley has a bit more than that
