[QUOTE=bigj7509;1149554]
Bought icp off of eBay. Yes I changed the plug to. Half tank of diesel. I don’t have oil pressure on gauge till about 3 time trying to start it. Icp reads 4.3ksi on bully dog. Timing is +3
Icp also reads 0.8

Is it bad if I forgot to prime oil cooler after I changed it?

You won't start w/ 100 rpm cranking. It needs to be over 150.

Because you left air in the system, it can take some excessive cranks to get it out.

To save the battery, it is best to crank with the key off using the starter solenoid jumper wire. That can save your batteries and FICM as well.

That said, it sounds like the batteries are already weak.

bismic1 yes the batteries are weak been cranking and charging for days now. anyways the code p2289 came up think that has to do with icp because it said p2289 injector control pressure too high- engine off. i did check the icp and it looks brand new. erase dtc and hasn't pop up that code again. rpm is cranking at 125 guess that's not enough?

Are you using a motorcraft oil filter and motorcraft oil filter cap?

Sometimes a combination of a tall aftermarket cap and a motorcraft filter can fail to depress (close) the filter housing drain valve.

yes i am using motorcraft oil filter and cap. this thing has got me stumped has thrown every dtc code in book. probably cause batteries are weak and still won't start. don't even act like it's even firing. pretty sure all air should be out of system by now? i try and start it every 3 hours till bed time for the last week are so. double and triple checked everything even tore it back down thinking i did something wrong are missed something but i did do either

well guess since i can't get this to run. i'm going to tear it back down and start over. don't know what else to do. everything checks out good had a couple of senors wet but other than that dont look like nothing is wrong expect it ran before i put tuner on it.

You might test the drain valve. Depress it and crank. The oil filter bowl should fill in 3 seconds and not drain out as long as you are depressing the valve.
