Default No crank

I have a no crank all of a sudden. I pulled the wire from the disconnect and connected it to th battery and. No crank . Ignition on . Does this mean bad starter? Thanks for the help !

Check your batteries first. Clean all battery connections and ALL ground connections to the frame and body (there are a few). A bad ground connection will raise havoc. Make sure all battery cables are in good shape and not chaffing, cracked, or split open and corroded. Try this before you go and spend a bunch of money. All this will cost you is a bit of time.
