new turbo
Had to put a new turbo on my 2004 f350 6.0. Got it together the truck starts and idles good, but when rpm's are increased at about 1700 the engine starts to feel like a miss, the higher the rpm's the bigger the miss.
Someone told me the turbo had to be broken in and it would probably straighten out?
Changed the irp and icp and the up pipes.
Anyone know what could be the problem?
Thanks
Alton

I rebuilt the old one, put in new icp and irp. Still had problems, thought I had made mistake on rebuilding, so bought a new stock one from garrett.
Found part of the problem was the icp, I had no high pressure replaced it and now it starts but when rpm's are increased sounds like old gas motor out of time.
I have ordered a new irp and will replace it.
thanks.
