Hey guys just bought a 2003 f250 king ranch 6.0 has 215k all stock besides a straight pipe. From 3rd to 4th it seems to have a little delay in the shifting when I get on the gas some. Is it normal? It's not really that noticeable. Am I just paranoid? I don't no if it's a delay or just a harder shift.

 

sounds like direct clutch solenoid failing.. and you shouldn't be going into 4th gear.. the truck should shift 1,2,3,5,6.. 3-5 flare is usually caused by 1) direct clutch solenoid failing.. try gogo solenoid.. or 2) direct clutch pack failing.. when was the last time you changed your filters?
