Hey I am new here so hello everyone. Now for the reason I am here is that I am having some trouble with my 6.0. Ive had it for a while now but today all of a sudden it started to get real hot. Drove to town which is only 20 miles and the eot would hit 230 and the ect was like 235. So I let it cool down and started to drive home and only like 5 miles the coolant temp was up to 252 and the oil was like 246. Would let it cool down and then just several miles it was back up there again. The fan going strong all the time and the egts were even getting up there and I was taking it real easy. Never had this happen before and its really worrying me. The pickup has headstuds and headgaskets done and has bulletproof diesel egr system and coolant filtration kit. And the oil cooler was replaced like 30k miles ago. Need help please. Thanks Tim

Simple fix most likely, Thermostat is stuck, replace thermostat and see what it does.
